Rant 4 - Pay And Pay!

Support Pay And Pay! All of our civil servants deserve pay increments. Without them, our women would be maids; our men would be banglas; our children would be victims of paedophiles. Do we want that? No!

We want safe streets; we want jobs; we want NSS shares; we want HDB upgrades; we want efficient public transport; we want clean and corrupt-free government; we want clean water; we want good education system; we want a secure and terror-free home; we want peace.

BUT YET YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY PAY INCREMENT?!?

You want debates? You want statistics? You want data? You want evidence before allowing the pay increment? You think it's too much? You think there is no basis? You think it's an easy job? You think you can do as well? You think there are idealististic arseholes who are willing to take peanuts and run the country well? You think we need idealists? You think you can do it for peanuts? You think you can pay S$10 for a S$300 whore? You think you can go to Lido Palace and pay JC prices?

DON'T BE A MORON!

They are an international company; they are driven by business; they are a business; they are your employer; they are the biggest employer; they are humans; they are the best in the business; they are CEOs and Presidents; they are your bosses; they provide you with everything you need.

DON'T FORGET!

We do not want to lose them; we do not want to cry over spilled milk. We do not want to wait until it is too late. They may not want any pay increment but let us give it to them. Let us recognise their effort. Let us show our appreciation. Let us say thank you to them. Let us show gratitude. It is an incentive. It is a reward. It is a way for us to say "thank you". It is a way to say that we recognise that it is not easy to hug babies and attend grassroot functions all the times. It is a way to say that we appreciate what you have done during these 42 years for Singapore.

So, let us unite, cross our hearts, raise our fists, and sing in unison: PAY AND PAY! PAY AND PAY! PAY AND PAY! PAY AND PAY! PAY AND PAY........
